Bullin It

Don’t worry about hurting my feelings because I guarantee you not one bit of my self esteem is tied up in your acceptance.

Floral Flava

Life doesn’t rhyme. Your first kiss isn’t as important as your last. Get caught in the rain. Laugh out loud while you’re alone. Go on adventures and get lost. Paint even though you’re not an artist. Really get to know people. Accept that you will fail at something in life. Get your heart broken and put the pieces back together. Put your hand up in class only to get the answer wrong. Wonder about things. Learn. Remember that sunrises are free. Let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you. Work bad hair days. Get drunk and tell people how you really feel at 4am. Believe that everything happens for a reason. Look at the stars and finally realize how small you are. Travel for a year and look at the world differently when you come back. Eat the red velvet cake. Never regret anything. Forgive and forget. Don’t hold anything back. Live for the music, the moments. Because nobody lives forever, and life is really really short.

The Essence of A New Day

This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you left behind… let it something good.

Tickled Pink

At the end of the day you won’t be happy until you learn to love yourself first.

Red-Y

Not everything in life revolves around meeting another person to be with. Yes, it’s great to have someone adore you, but it’s more important to find the things in yourself that make you special and adorable. Before you can find who’s right for you, you have to become the person you’re meant to be.

Abstracts

Life really all comes down to…. Who do you want to be in the world? Not…what do you want to do, not what do you want to achieve, but who do you want to be? What is the kind of person when they read your eulogy? What do you want the words to be said about the kind of person you have been in the world? Do you know the answer to that question? Because in the end how your love affects people, the love you put out into the world is really what matters.

The Perfect Combination

The older you get,

the more you realize that

it isn’t about the material things,

or pride,

or ego.

it’s about our hearts and who they

beat for.

A Midi Moment

Communication… such an easy word to say right?... but such a difficult word to incorporate in our daily lifestyles. O how important it is to have a strong line of communication in any relationship you have whether it be your father, mother, sister, brother, girlfriend, boyfriend, fiancĂ©, husband, wife and the list goes on and on. These are all relationships that require some line of communication. Now, I’m not talking about a simple hey… hello… but actually getting down to the nitty gritty how do you really feel? See, I think where we go wrong is we fail to communicate our truest feelings to the people that have hurt us, we allow time, circumstances, pride and even our attitudes get in the way. Thus propelling us into a resentful and angry state of mind kind of somewhere along the lines of “I told you I don’t want to talk about this anymore” boy aren’t we all guilty of saying those words. How you communicate determines your relationship. If you’re vague, nonchalant, untrustworthy, and angry well you can kind of expect for your relationship to be a mirror image of that, weathered, damaged and broken beyond repair. You see communication is a two way street and if those lines are not open how can you truly expect for that relationship to grow? I mean stop and really think about it…. your brain sends a signal to your stomach when you are hungry right? (communication) and what do you? You get something to eat to satisfy your hunger. Life and relationship is no different but we as humans tend to get it all confused when it really is just that simple. Communicate how you REALLY feel people, because your relationships will never grow if you keep ignoring your pain.

All Laced Up

The more you like yourself, flaws and all the less you want to become like anyone else, which makes you unique.
