Don’t get your hopes up too fast. Don’t let your guard down too soon. Don’t be blinded by potential for too long. Patience protects the heart. Don’t confuse what you feel with what’s real. Just because you have emotions for a person doesn’t mean they’re healthy. Some people just click, but that doesn’t mean it stays that way. Flames burns out, infatuation dies down, the butterflies fade and you can’t control any of that. But you can control what you choose to settle for. Reciprocity is everything. So if you aren’t getting out what you put in, your selling yourself short. When it’s REAL everything is MUTUAL.
