People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyways. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. A lot of times I believe the world has a way of making us feel as though we are weak if we cry and/or shed a tear from time to time, but I disagree with the world 1 million percent. I always believed God created tears for times when the soul became overburdened or overwhelmed. I always looked at it as a way for the soul to just take a breather and release. I picked this quote today because when times get tough sometimes the best thing to do is just cry and let it out, then wipe your face and keep it moving. So whatever may be troubling you as you read this blog right now let it out and talk to God about it; cry if you have to and when your finished don’t be upset because you cried be happy that you gave your soul a break. Remember smile as much as you can ,don’t let the worries of the world put a beating on you as my father used tell me and remember I love you and so does God ;)

Hello Summer

We all have things in life that make it seem hard…and we all have people that do things to us in life that seem even harder to forgive but through the grace of God and his love it’s possible. Matthew 6 tells us how can we expect our Heavenly Father to forgive us if we don’t even forgive those that sin against us. When I was a child I thought as a child but when I became a man/woman I put those foolish things away.

Ending something whether a dream, a goal, a friendship, a relationship or a tie with someone is always hard, always sad. There’s a lingering regret of what went wrong and questions that will never be answered but you have to come to realize that as a page of your life ends with them, somewhere, somehow a new chapter is waiting to start.

Different chapters in our lives begin and end continuously until our days are done on this earth, so why do many of us refuse to realize that there can be new beginnings? Some of us grow so attached to the way that things are operating at the moment that we sometimes lose sight on who we are as a person, and also forget about the goals and dreams that we once wished to accomplish.

Knowing that there are questions left unanswered in parts of our lives, and lingering regret will be with us always no matter how much we choose to deny it, the choice is yours to either build from it, or to let it destroy you. We must recognize that the past we have, including the mistakes that we made, and the regrets that still may be in our minds to this day, are what builds our character. As Sydney Smith said "Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable."
