DIY: Lemon Sugar Scrub

What You Will Need
2 Lemons
1 lb sugar
Organic Apple Cidar Vinegar
Organic Coconut Oil
Container
Knife
1.   Using your knife cut each lemon down the center. After cutting you should have 4 lemon halves. Now squeeze the lemon juice out of the lemon into your container. (To allow the lemon juice to release easily try microwaving your lemon halves about 15 seconds.

Once all your lemons have been squeezed. Your bowl should look like this.
Using a spoon or spatula pick out all the lemon seeds. You do not want these seeds to remain in your scrub because the seeds can scrape your face when applying.
Measure out about 2 full cups of sugar (1lb) and pour into your lemon juice.
Your mixture should now be a lot thicker in consistency. The more sugar you use the thicker your scrub will be.
Measure 5 teaspoons of coconut oil and add to the mixture.
Make sure you’re continuously stirring to get rid of any large chunks from the coconut oil.
Pour in one cap full of apple cidar vinegar and stir.
When you’re all done, your sugar scrub should look like this. Somewhat thick yet somewhat liquidly.
So here is how the product looked after applying to my face with a small foundation brush. It was very shiny and I could feel a tingling sensation on my skin. I left the scrub on for about 10 minutes and washed it off with a warm wash cloth. My skin felt a lot smoother and tighter afterwards, with a small amount of shine from the coconut oil. I really did like the results and I like the fact that this scrub is 100% all natural. The lemons act as a natural lighter for the skin combating blemishes and contains vitamin C to even out your skin tone. The coconut oil provides the skin with moisture and  fights acne. It fights wrinkles and fine lines and also contains vitamin E which helps in healing the skin. The sugar exfoliates and cleans your pores. The sugar exfoliates. Lastly the apple cidar vinegar helps to kill bacteria from acne, balance your ph levels and aids in giving your skin a natural glow. After using, I stored my container in the refrigerator. Overall, I loved my results and will definitely be adding this lemon sugar scrub to my daily routine.
