I were much of a tattoo lover I always pictured myself having a bird tattooed
on my wrist, nothing too fancy or drawn in just a small symbolic symbol of a
bird… but since I’m not I think I’ll just be okay with the thought of it.
Growing up I always thought birds represented ‘freedom’. They soar high above
the world and the grace in their wings always seem to captivate me. The freedom
in their flight. As crazy as it may sound or seem at times I find myself gazing
into the sky wishing to one day soar just like that. No worries, no cares, just
flight and freedom. I believe we are all on a quest to find those 2 things. It’s
the moment we attain them we have reached our happiest place in life and love.
Freedom… allowing yourself to be who you are, removing the masks of fear, doubt
and uncertainty. Accepting the you that is you. Appreciation of oneself. Flight…
growth, stability and knowledge that storms will flare and weather in life won’t
always be the best but you will continue to soar unmoved by the turbulence.
a whirlwind of a week. I have been under the weather for the last 3 days so it
feels amazing to finally be up and functioning like a normal human being. Being
sick sucks!!! On another note, Zara is having their semi-annual sale so last
week I stopped in to take a quick peek and walked out with a few newbie’s this
dress and these shoes included. This bubblegum pink dress definitely caught my
eye and let’s not even begin to discuss these patent leather t-strap beauties
on my feet love them…. Despite this recent buy I have really been trying to
limit how much I spend on clothes and makeup. It’s time to start recycling the
clothes I have, and start using the makeup that’s just been collecting dust. It’s
fun getting new things but the real fun comes in recycling and seeing the
various ways you can wear pieces so that’s my thing until the end of the year.
Hopefully I will stick to the plan lol. Welp, gotta go so I will talk to you
guys later and see you in my next post.
a simple being who still struggles with internal and external adversities.
Traveling with my faith through the peaks, valleys and plateaus of life. These
visuals are mere reflections of me discovering my unlimited potential and
myself. Each post has nothing to do with new this or new that but rather myself
evolving into the person I was created to be. When I first started this blog I
wanted it to be all about inner beauty. Fashion was just my outlet to express
it. So just as important as these clothes are, find more importance in the
quotes that accompany them, because at my happiest and saddest times I find comfort
not in the clothes but in the inspiration.
