What was a life lived if it was only lived in fear….

 

I recently stumbled across this quote while perusing Tumblr the other day and it immediately got my wheels turning. Whenever that happens I pick up the phone and call my bestie so we can discuss it. It’s always great to have someone you can call for anything and he is definitely that person. As we discussed what the quote meant it got us both into a deep conversation. Life is meant for risks and it’s through risks that we truly gain an understanding of who and what we are made of. Fear is the illusion that sets in our minds saying we cannot take risks, because it’s far to dangerous. By overcoming fear we can conquer our minds.  Thus capitulating ourselves into a fearless mentality. We have to conquer our minds.

I say this because there are so many things in life that you and I would love to do, that we are just too scared to do. What if I lose everything? What if I don’t have any money? What if he or she leaves me? What if… What if… What if…..? Fear of the unknown.  You and I have every tool necessary to be happy, all we have to do is find and use them. What if you lose everything? Well, that’s the joy of learning and starting over. What if you don’t have money? Well, that’s the joy of channeling your inner talents to provide a source of income. What if he or she leaves me? Well, there are 7 billion people on Earth I’m sure you will meet someone better.

A life lived in fear is really no life at all. Take risks guys and enjoy the journey along the way. I am!
