How To Rock A Romper

The Romper trend is one of this seasons most popular trends mainly because it's ultra comfy and ultra girly. If you're not sure if you can rock this trend check out my tips below on finding the perfect romper for your body type.

Romper Petite: if your petite stay away from rompers that have lots of design, ruffles or heavy fabric. Opt for something more simple. Vertical stripes and solid colors will lengthen you out making you seem taller and leaner.

Romper Tall: if your tall you have the advantage when rocking this trend because  your legs will look miles long which is always a plus. Make sure your romper fits well when it comes to your torso so you won't get the camel toe effect. You can pretty much go for any design. If your concerned about looking to tall and thin try color blocked patterned rompers it will give you volume and shorten you a tad bit.

Romper Curvy: for my curvy sistas try a romper that ties at the waist to avoid the fabric from looking too big and baggy. Also make sure the material is not hugging your goodies too tight, there should be enough room so that the fabric falls right over your frame.

Essie Nail Corrector Pen

Don't you hate it when you paint your nails and a little polish gets on the side of your finger or on your cuticles? Well... I DO. Typically after painting my nails I take a q-tip and soak it in nail polish remover and use it to clean up any excess polish that got on my hand or nails, but the q tip doesn't always work. Major nail polish retailer Essie has just made me and your lives alot easier by introducing the Essie Nail Corrector Pen. It's a quick and easy way  to clean excess nail polish. You can carry it anywhere and it's refillable. I can't wait to try this out. You can purchase it for $14.00 at Nordstroms or order it now online by clicking here ----> http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/essie-nail-corrector-pen/2988084?origin=PredictiveSearch&resultback=761&cm_ven=facebook&cm_cat=corporate&cm_pla=7_13_11&cm_ite=essie_nail_corrector_pen

Date Series: Meeting His Mom

It's always great when a guy invites you to dinner to meet his mom. It makes you feel like you've ARRIVED lol or at least he's really into you right? Well...it can also be a MAJOR fashion anxiety party as well, as you rack your brain on what to wear. Check out a few of my tips on how to dress for that special day.

1. Dress Classy, Not Trendy: you can never go wrong with dressing classy. Stick with classic pieces like blazers and knee length dresses/ skirts (pencil skirts are awesome). Try not to wear trendy pieces like bold tribal prints and palazzo pants not everyone understands trends but everyone understands class. I'm not saying wear a business suit but a nice color complimenting shift dress or wide leg slacks with heels and a chiffon top will definitely do the trick.

2. Don't Overdue The Makeup: for starters no one likes a cake face. Makeup is meant to look natural so don't pack on the makeup it will only distract his mom from getting to know who you really are. She'll be looking at your outlandish makeup rather than what's coming out your mouth.

3. Bag Personality: Show your personality through the handbag you carry. All women love a STELLAR handbag so be creative with what bag you carry. However, remember it's his mom so you don't want to go over board.

4. Be Yourself: I know this night might be a little intimidating and you want to definitely make a great impression on his mother but be who you are. I'm pretty sure if he loves you the mom will also. Be you, SMILE, LAUGH, and ENJOY the night!

I loved this when I saw it! Ladies remember that God is there in every moment of our lives so He knows our pain. He knows our happy moments he knows our sad! Praise, Seek, Worship, Trust and Thank Him ;)

Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2011 Couture

Who doesn't love COUTURE?  It's the ultra glam of fashion, the outlandish, the unthinkable greatness of fabrics, needles and threads all collaborating to create a marvelous garment. Couture is simply FAB. I was looking through some pics of Jean Paul Gaultier's Fall 2011 couture collection and I had to share it with you ladies. Gaultier is simply AMAZING turning trench coats into evening dresses, using mink and sheer fabrics to create STELLAR gowns. He's a genius!

Bold Lips

Ladies don't be afraid to make a statement and go for a bold dramatic lip this season!

Onyx Professional Polish Remover

It has always been a pet peeve of mine to buy a nail polish remover that takes forever to take my polish off. So I have been on a hunt for the longest trying to find a nail polish remover that takes my polish off with one or 2 rubs. I came across Onyx Professional polish remover about a month ago and hands down this is my fave. It's 100% acetone so my polish comes right off. I recommend after using the product you wash your hands then apply lotion the acetone tends to dry my nails out a little but overall a GREAT nail polish remover. You can purchase it at your local Target.

Kardashian Kolors + OPI
